So.. we've been waiting for this performance since we heard Naya sing Santa Baby in November. But we did NOT expect this. This scene is somewhat of a religious experience. You've been forewarned. Here's Naya Rivera's deleted scene from "Extraordinary Merry Christmas" from Glee 3x09 - singing Santa Baby.

Gleecap: Glee 3x09 - 'Extraordinary Merry Christmas' Recap

Follow TroutyMouthBlog on Twitter

I don't know why anyone would miss a holiday special on Glee, when you know that the holiday specials are always so much fun, and they make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, especially this one, even though there wasn't much of a plot line, and you really didn't miss all that much of a story line, but still you should never miss an episode of Glee but in case you did here's what you missed:

It's Christmas, so Rachel wants Finn to get her all the best things for Christmas. Especially after he donates a pig to families in Africa to his vegetarian girlfriend. Even though he's a broke high school kid, and doesn't really know how to buy her anything awesome. At least Rachel embraced the pig & named her Barbra... she's fabulous. The pig, I mean.

Sue, despite her hatred for the Glee Club, wants them to come volunteer at a homeless shelter to serve food and help out and sing. It's a sweet gesture, and they obviously agree without hesitation.

Meanwhile, Will books the Glee Club on the local "Christmas Special" for TV. Even better, he books Artie to direct it. Downside? It falls on the same day that they were supposed to help out at the homeless shelter.

Artie gets all mean director because he thinks the Christmas songs people have been singing are too depressing (i.e. "Blue Christmas", sung by Rory & "River" sung by Rachel)

Sam thinks that the depressing part of Christmas is what makes Christmas special, making you realize all of your blessings. He gets upset that they're doing the Christmas special, so he leaves.

Rachel and Blaine show off the happier side of Christmas with a Glee Club original, "Extraordinary Merry Christmas".

Queue the Christmas Special. Setting: Blaine & Kurt's house. They're best friends and holiday roommates. Story: Having a Christmas party & invited all their friends, even though there's a snow storm on. Background: In a dream, Chewbacca came to Artie & it inspired him to model the Christmas Special after two of the best ever made: Judy Garlands 1963 Christmas Special & the Star Wars Christmas Special.

Insert a bunch of awesome songs. Kurt & Blaine sing "Let it Snow". Kurt, Blaine, Rachel & Mercedes sing "My Favorite Things". Finn & Puck sing "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" while dressed like Star Wars characters. Brittany sings "Christmas Wrapping" while Santana, Tina and the Cheerios Dance and Mike plays Santa Claus. Then it ends with a beautiful moment when Rory the Elf reads the Christmas Story - The real Christmas Story - the one that represents the true meaning of Christmas.

Sam and Quinn don't participate in the Christmas Special. Instead they help Sue at the homeless shelter.

Inspired by the true meaning of Christmas, the Glee Club takes the food leftover from the Christmas Special and go to the Homeless Shelter to help out. Queue "Do They Know It's Christmas?" Sad. Yet beautiful.

After Finn named a star (appropriately named him Finn) for Rachel's Christmas present, he also buys her diamond earrings. She had apparently bought him an iPod. Together they decide that they don't need those gifts, sell them back, and donate the money to the Salvation Army donation stand that Sam and Rory are volunteering to ring bells for.

And that's what you missed... on Glee!

Extraordinary Christmas scenes!

Follow TroutyMouthBlog on Twitter

The Glee Christmas episode is the next one up on Tuesday and I'm suuuuper excited about it. There are going to be a TON of songs and two of the performances were released today! Check them out below:

All I Want For Christmas Is You

Do They Know It's Christmas

So..loved all of that. Little bit of everything in "All I Want For Christmas Is You" so hopefully most shippers are happy or at least cracked a smile! Except for Artie..Sugar (Lopez-Pierce) needs to get in there and get up on that!

And "Do They Know It's Christmas" is just a tearjerker and amazing. When Sue is being nice it always touches your heart. Oh and it also looks like Puck's mohawk has at least had a little attention compared to past weeks. And finally, you sing those notes, Naya.

There are a load more songs on Tuesdays episode and we can't wait to see all of them! :)

GleeCap: Glee 3x08 - 'Hold On To Sixteen' Recap

Follow TroutyMouthBlog on Twitter

Why would anyone miss an episode of Glee? That's right, there is no excuse. Not even your abuela should be able to stop you from tuning in, unless she beats you up with her chair. If she somehow did, however, stop you physically or by telling you there was a ridiculously long hiatus, here is the gleecap for what you missed on 3x08 "Hold On To Sixteen":

Quinn tells Rachel that Puck & Shelby are sleeping together.

Sectionals are being held at WMHS. Finn tells Schue that they need Sam Evans, aka Trouty Mouth, back.

Sebastian comes back to steal Blaine. Kurt tells him off. Like Hard. Like he tells him he smells like Craig's List...

Rachel & Finn go to Kentucky to find Sam... In a strip club... Under the alias of White Chocolate. Freakin' abulous.

Sam asks his parents if he can go back to William McKinley. He plans to stay with members of the New Directions. So he comes back & sings "Red Solo Cup". Then when he's done, Santana comes in and slams him with her notebook of insults. Awesome.

Mike tells Tina that he applied to Stanford for Pre-Med. Tina gets upset & tells him she knows that won't make him happy. Mike says that maybe they shouldn't be together. #SadPanda

New Directions were rehearsing for Sectionals & Sam tells them they need to sell sex. Blaine gets mad & says he's not for sale. Angry Blaine comes out and starts punching bags. He's mad at Sam and he's mad at Finn.

Finn goes to him to try and make amends. So, they decide to work together to win Sectionals.

Sam tries to get Mercedes back. She tells him to move on, and he says he's fighting for her.

Tina goes to talk to Mike's dad. She tells him that Mike's throwing his dreams away. And that he needs to make it right. Then he tells Tina that she's wasting her time trying to be a performer.

Quinn wants to tell Figgins about Puck & Shelby. Rachel tries to stop her by telling her to think about Beth. So, she decides to tell Shelby she's going to tell Figgins about her affair with Puck. Shelby gives her a spiel about how young she is.

Sectionals comes around. The Unitards sing "Buenos Aires". It was good. But not first place good.

The Trouble Tones performed a mashup of "Survivor/I Will Survive". Obviously we liked it... But it was only one song...

The New Directions sing three songs. "ABC" (Finally a Tina solo. Brilliant.) "Control" (Kevin McHale has swag.) "Man In the Mirror" (Amazing. More McHale swag.) But you know, they got 3 songs.

Mike's dad shows up during "ABC" and then he finds them after the competition and apologizes to both Mike & Tina, and tells Mike he should apply to dancing schools and follow his dream.

Mike realizes that he had missed the deadline for Dance Schools. Luckily, his supportive girlfriend Tina sent them in. So he tells her he loves her. #HappyPanda

Come to find out that New Directions win Sectionals.

Then Quinn thanks Rachel for talking her out of telling on Shelby. Then she leaves to tell Brittany, Santana, and Mercedes that they should join New Directions again, because they only have 6 months of school left and that they should spend time together.

They close with a big group number called "We Are Young" by Fun. It was Fun. Really fun. Like really really fun. Reminded me of season 1 so much. Best. Group. Number. Ever.

And that's what you missed on... Glee!

Now that we've made it past sectionals, we're on to the next big thing at WMHS! If this year's Christmas episode follows suit from the episodes we've seen already, then we know it's going to be amazing!

Still speechless from the amazingness that consumed me in that final group number tonight, so no babling here. Just your first sneak peek at Glee episode 3x09: "Extraordinary Merry Christmas"

Do we really have one more week?!

Performances from 3x08 "Hold on to Sixteen"

Follow TroutyMouthBlog on Twitter

So many bipolar feelings about sectionsals already, and the episode hasn't even aired yet. However, we did get two new releases of upcoming performances in next week's episode of Glee: 3x08 "Hold on to Sixteen". And can we just say, we love them both oh so very much.

The first one, obviously going to make your Brittana hearts flutter. The epic sectionals performance from the Trouble Tones. Here's your first look at I Will Survive/I'm a Survivor mashup, performed by the Trouble Tones:

One word: Brittango (pronounced brit-TAHngo).

The next video is obviously a good one for us. Why? Our namesake is back! And... no surprise here, our girl Santana is back to tell him all about his oversized mouth. This obviously brings so much joy to TroutyMouth.com. So, without further ado, here's your first look at Red Solo Cup performed by Sam Evans, aka Trouty Mouth, with the New Directions:

It might be an unpopular opinion, but I actually really like the song. It's fun. It's catchy. They're drinking sparkling grape juice. What's not to like? Oh, and I'm not even going to go into the brilliant lines at the end of this clip. Obviously we just love everything about it.

Hope you enjoyed! Can't wait til Tuesday! It's sectionals, baby!
