Glee Seniors vs Juniors - Who's Who?

Follow TroutyMouthBlog on Twitter

We found out at Comic Con that Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan decided to make the lovely Tina (played by Jenna Ushkowitz) a Junior. We also heard that Mike Chang (Harry Shum Jr.), Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer), Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith), Rachel Berry (Lea Michele), and Santana Lopez (Naya Rivera) are seniors.

There's been a lot of controversy as to who is going to be a senior and who is going to be a junior. Well, thanks to an exclusive video from TV Guide.com, we've discovered the fate of one of our other faves: Artie Abrams (played by Kevin McHale).

Take a look at the very first 36-seconds of the Glee Season 3 premiere: The Purple Piano Project.

So, what do you think, Gleeks? Happy? Sad? Ecstatic? (Yeah, we're pretty ecstatic!) All we have left is Brittany (Heather Morris), Puck (Mark Salling), Quinn (Dianna Agron), Mercedes (Amber Riley), and Blaine (Darren Criss). Though we've heard speculations, what do you think? Who's going to be a senior? Who's going to be a Junior? Let us know. We for one (two?) can't wait to find out!

Glee Season 3 Episode 1 Songs - First Listen!

Follow TroutyMouthBlog on Twitter

Are you dying to hear the songs from the Season 3 premier?! We've got a first listen comin' your way. Brace yo'selves!

We Got the Beat
Performed by Lea, Naya, Heather, & ensemble

Anything Goes/Anything You Can Do Mashup
Performed by Lindsay

You Can't Stop the Beat
Performed by Lea, Cory, Chris, Kevin, Amber & ensemble

Ding Dong the Witch is Dead
Performed by Lea and Chris

It's Not Unusual
Performed by Darren

So what do you think?! I'm not sure how crazy I am about this lineup... But the songs are definitely good. As much as I'm not a huge Lindsay fan, her voice is stellar. Ding Dong the Witch is Dead? I'm not so sure about this one, but I don't mind how they perform the song. You KNOW I love me some We Got the Beat. The way they do You Can't Stop the Beat... I kinda like it. That's that Glee thing we love so much. They can take any song and perform it better than the original... Then, I've got to say it... I think It's Not Unusual just might be my favorite... can you believe it?!

What's your favorite? What do you think of the line up?
Hopefully this gave you a little life-support to get through the next 4 days... Yep I said it, 4 DAYS... until "The Purple Piano Project" premieres. (What is going on in this Glee World, Ryan Murphy?!)

Happy Easter and Have Fun in New York!

Looks like the Glee kids are off to Nationals! According to Twitter, Jenna Ushkowitz left last night to head out to the Big City. She rode American Airlines, and even had her own massage chair. Uber jealous.

IJennaUsh: LAX---> NYC baby!
IJennaUsh: Massage option on my seat? Yes please. Alright American airlines I'm not mad. #showmewhatyagot
IJennaUsh: Hello NY. Happy Easter everyone!

Lea Michele also graced us with some NY tweets:

msleamichele: Woke up in LA and with the blink of an eye I'm walking down the streets of New York. All I hear is Jay Z!!!! Now you're in NEW YORK!!!!
msleamichele: Happy Easter! So grateful to be home with my family on this beautiful day:) XO

If the other Glee kids aren't there yet, we know they will be. Filming for Nationals starts this week :) Can't wait for the upcoming episodes. I think Glee is going to go out with a huge bang this year!

Happy Easter to those who celebrate, and hope you have an amazeballs day!

Thanks again, Twitter!

Oh man, I love Twitter. It really is my new favorite sport. So today, I saw three tweets from three Glee cast mates about a certain Mark Salling. What did they say:

Dianna Agron was the first to tweet:
alittlelamb: @Mark_Salling never seen such a guitar solo. It's....just....indescribable.

Lea Michele was quick to retweet:
msleamichele: @alittlelamb I know right?!?! :) "@Mark_Salling never seen such a guitar solo. It's....just....indescribable."

Ashley Fink followed suit just a little while later:
Ashley_Fink: @Mark_Salling you are killing me right now. Just. Wow.

So what is this about? We have our suspicions here at Trouty Mouth, but we don't know if they are true. We definitely know we'd like to see a musical solo from the musically talented Noah Puckerman... But we'll see! Thanks for making us anxious Twitter!

Let us know if you have any leads on the matter ;)

Chat soon - have an incred-glee-ble day.

Slushee Whiplash

Follow TroutyMouthBlog on Twitter
Glee addiction. It's a real thing people. I've been re-watching Season 1 these past few weeks and then watching (and sometimes listening to them..when I'm at work) any episodes from Season 2 that I can access. While I want new episodes right now, I just have to accept the re-runs and wait patiently. While watching the rerun of "The Substitute" earlier this week, there was an April promo that aired. And what I saw...was amazing and heartbreaking at the same time. Amazing..because I love Glee. Heartbreaking because of the slushee whiplash that one Santana Lopez suffered. Prepare yourselves...
